Why did you decide to work at camp this summer?
I had an amazing experience at Iroquois Springs last summer and met so many wonderful people. It was an incredible experience being able to do so much at camp and I am so excited to experience that again.
What are you looking to learn from this summer?
I am looking to learn more about myself and grow both personally and professionally. Being in the camp environment gives you such an incredible opportunity to learn so much about yourself, who you are as a person, and learn about the skills that can help you in the future. I am excited to learn from all that camp has to offer.
What do you think you can bring to camp this summer which will impact our campers?
Firstly, I think I will bring a lot of humor and laughs, which can hopefully be impactful to my campers and all of the staff I work with. I have a lot of energy and enthusiasm in everything I do, and I hope that this can help create many memories for the campers.
What are you looking forward to most about this summer?
While I was able to get involved in so many things last summer, I am so excited to participate and experience even more this summer, while I hopefully get involved in new things and participate in new activities. I can’t wait to be a “difference maker” to a whole new set of campers and impact their lives. While, I am of course excited to see all of the returning counselors from last summer who I had created amazing friendships with, I am also excited to meet all of the new staff members of this summer. I hope to pass along my experiences to them and help them become a part of our camp family.
