Where are you From: I am originally from Chesapeake Virginia, but I was raised in Suffolk County, Long Island, New York!

Why did you decide to work at camp this summer?

I decided to work at camp this summer because I love working with kids, and I feel like it’s a great opportunity to give them something to look forward to while impacting their growth. I want to be a role model for the campers, and I believe this camp is the perfect place for that. Here, kids are discovering new things about themselves every day while having so much fun—and not just the kids, but the staff too! I’m excited to be a part of that process and contribute to making this summer unforgettable.

What are you looking to learn from this summer?

I’m looking to learn how to make camp a fun and enjoyable experience! I want to pick up new games, and fun ways to keep everyone smiling and laughing, I also want to learn how to handle challenges that may come up. Throughout this experience I’m looking forward to learning from the campers and my staff and bringing the best out of everyone! 

What do you think you can bring to camp this summer which will impact our campers?

I feel like one thing I am definitely packing along with me this summer is my energy and my caring attitude. Being far away from home can be scary, but knowing there is someone that’s there that can uplift you in your darkest days, is something I strive for! Along with all of my energy and caring attitude, I’m packing my creativity and positivity! I love coming up with fun activities and finding ways to keep everyone engaged and not feel left out. Lastly, right next to my toothbrush I’m packing my listening skills! I want campers to feel comfortable talking to me, especially if they need anything. My goal in this entire experience is that everyone feels supported, safe and excited to see us every morning! 

What are you looking forward to most about this summer?

I’m looking forward to bonding with my cabin and all of the fun activities we can do and creating a memorable experience for not just me but for my cabin as well! I want them to remember this summer and all of the exciting things they got to witness! 

Tell us an interesting fact/story about yourself!

An interesting fact about me is that I love to travel and I love making memories. If I had to be an emotion from inside out I’d definitely be nostalgia, if you know you know, lol.
