Getting to Know Zach Mszyco

Name:
Zach MszycoZach Mszyco

Where are you from: Pittsburgh, PA

Years at I.S.: 1

What have you been doing since camp ended this summer?

I have been hard at work as I entered my second year as a marketing major this fall at the University of Pittsburgh. In addition to that, I served as the assistant director to my college’s musical theater club’s performance of The Drowsy Chaperone, which was an incredibly rewarding experience.

What is your favorite memory from the summer?

One of my favorite memories from last summer would have to be sitting on the soccer fields and eating a Popsicle while watching fireworks for the Fourth of July!

What did you learn from your experience this past summer?

What I learned this summer was that everyone has something to offer each other, and no matter how young a person is, they can teach you something very valuable.

What are you looking forward to most about next summer?

I’m ecstatic to see how my old bunk has grown over the winter and to see all the friends that I made last summer!

What advice do you have for staff who are going to be at Iroquois Springs for the first time this summer?

The first few days may be a bit intimidating due to the fact that you are in a large, new place surrounded by many people you don’t know, but I promise that within a week you’ll feel right at home! The staff at Iroquois Springs are some of the kindest and big hearted people I have ever met!
