What is your favorite memory from last summer?
Watching our kids prepare for Mock Rock during the week leading up to the event and then finally winning it. It was awesome!

How did you grow as a person from your experience last summer?
I learned how to be more tolerant, understanding and responsible for my campers. As soon as I figure this out and applied it to my campers and peers I felt my whole attitude to life change for the better.

Tell us a “Wow” moment you had last summer?
After all the camp buses rolled out of camp at the end of the summer I was walking back to my cabin and Boys Side was silent and eerie.  All of a sudden it hit me that camp was over and there was nowhere to be. It was upsetting but it amazed me how much camp had affected me.

What advice do you have for staff who are going to be at Iroquois Springs for the first time this summer?
My advice for first time staff members would be to not worry about the small stuff, whether it’s something your campers have done or if there has been an inconvenience to yourself. You will spend too much time focusing on the past instead of enjoying what’s happening in front of you (which is a lot).
