The trident he holds up
Destined for the sea
A great leader, Poseidon had to be

He lived in a palace
Of gems and corals
His ancient stories had long lasting morals

Always working
He wouldn’t stop for a bit
But then there came the three-way split

Zeus got the sky
Hades got the underworld, too
Poseidon was given the water
And the color war team blue

Earthquakes, he made
Horses he had, too
The strength of Poseidon
Stands here before you

Poseidon Blue?!?
That’s what team I’m on
And so are you!

Strength, creativity
And loads of imagination
Is what you’ll get on this summer vacation

Healthy competition
Laughter, games and fun
But blue will shine when this night is done

On boys side and girls side
Is where we compete
It is obvious the gold team is easily beat

Making new friends
And having activities every day
Sadly, it’s coming to an end
So I’m just going to say

Good luck to the gold team
