Friendship
There is nothing better in the world than a true friend. Friends are the people who support, encourage and give us a sense of belonging. Friends stand by us, through thick and thin, they elevate and inspire us. Friends bring value to our lives. Research shows that children with healthy friendships have a greater sense of well being, better self-esteem and fewer social problems as adults. And when it comes to FRIENDS, there is no setting more significant than CAMP. The friendships that develop at camp are among the most important and rewarding in a child’s live. Camp friends motivate us to be the best we can be. They provide a safe place to laugh, cry, share, trust and try new things. Camp friends don’t judge, they listen with empathy and support. The special bond that develops between camp friends is a bond for life. So make sure to mark your calendars for the 14th annual Iroquois Springs Camp Reunion on December 7th. Come see your camp friends and catch up with the people that bring so much value to your life. The reunion is the perfect place to hug a friend, laugh about awesome summer memories and plan the amazing
adventures that lie ahead for summer 2015. We will be gathering at FunFuzion in New Roc City (New Rochelle, NY) from 9:30am to 11:30am. Enjoy a great breakfast, games, rides and the unveiling of the summer video yearbook and slideshow, with your friends by your side. All campers will receive a framed copy of their summer 2014 bunk and individual camp picture to take home with them. We can’t wait to see so many of our camp family at the reunion, and once again watch friends hugging, laughing, singing and enjoying the friendships they have made at camp. See you soon!
“You can count on me, like 1-2-3, I’ll be there. And I know when I need it, I can count on you, like 4-3-2, and you’ll be there…cause that’s what friends are supposed to do, oh yeah”. Bruno Mars, “Count on Me”.
